Summary: The Lori’s Hands Ambassador Council is a group of individuals who are committed to supporting community members living with chronic illness and preparing undergraduate students for careers in healthcare through Lori’s Hands’ innovative community health service learning model. Ambassadors collaborate with fellow professionals and community members to support Lori’s Hands’ programs and events to help the organization fulfill its mission.
Salary Range: This is an unpaid volunteer position
Requirements: The Ambassador Council is composed of 7-12 individuals who serve eighteen-month terms. Ambassadors are required to have been members of the Newark, DE area (living or working) for at least one year. Ambassadors may be (but are not limited to being) healthcare professionals, education professionals, community supporters, Lori’s Hands alumni, clients, or caregivers.
