Delaware Difference Makers

The Delaware Difference Makers are professionals who work in or with the nonprofit sector in Delaware and whose work substantial impacts the Delaware and Delaware Valley community. As a group, the Delaware Difference Makers members meet regularly to network, and discuss relevant and timely issues in the sector. There are four meet ups generally each month, a Wilmington lunch meeting (First Thursday, 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., bring your own bag lunch optional), a Wilmington coffee meeting (2nd Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., coffee and breakfast provided), a Dover lunch meeting (2nd Thursday, 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., bring your own bag lunch optional), and a Newark coffee meeting (3rd Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., coffee/breakfast available for purchase). Anyone who has an interest in advancing or learning more about the nonprofit sector or the professionals dealing with these issues on a regular basis is welcome to come.

The meetings are informal, and as a result, the group has had many interesting and spirited discussions about a variety of emerging issues and events affecting Delaware nonprofits. We have helped introduce and connect many difference makers to their counterparts at different organizations around the state.
